So this month I received my first StyleMint tee!StyleMint is a monthly subscription that is very similar to JewelMint or Birchbox, except it is for t-shirts! StyleMint’s tees are designed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (yay!) and you can pick from a new collection of tees every month which are styled certain ways based on what you fill out on their style profile! The cost of the monthly subscription is $29.99, but if you are not interested in any of the tees for that month, you can chose to “skip” that month and will not be charged. Their customer service is also really stellar (the first tee I was sent unfortunately had a hole, but they responded to me ASAP and sent me out a new one).

I was kind of late with this month on joining StyleMint, and ordered my tee in mid August. Because of that, a couple of the ones I wanted were sold out already in my size. Luckily, they had the “Sunset” tee, which I really loved because of the sleeve length. The sizing to chose from is 1,2,3, or 4. “1” corresponds with a size Small or X-Small, “2” is probably a “Medium” and so on. I got a “1” (I usually wear smalls) and it fit perfectly…almost too perfectly actually. I think I should have gotten a “2” because I would have liked a more looser fit, but it works! The material is super soft and very light, making it a little bit see-through, so wearing a cami under it is probably a good idea. O yea, I apologize for the picture…I hadn’t thought about cleaning off my mirror beforehand and there are a lot of spots! 😛 Overall, I am really liking Stylemint so far and I think it will be a great way to build up my wardrobe with good-quality classic tees (which are the type of shirts I usually always wear).
