Birchbox really went above and beyond this month! I absolutely loved my box 🙂

A FULL SIZE Laura Geller blush (a value of $29)! Mine was in “Honey Dipped”, but I know that they gave some other colors out as well (the pictured product is in “Pink Grapefruit”). I’m not really a stranger to Laura Geller products…I had used her [amazon_link id=”B000IEMGGE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Balance-n-Brighten[/amazon_link] foundation for a while before I started using BareMinerals, so I knew this blush would be awesome as well! The color is not one that I would have normally purchased for myself. Its quite dark (more like a bronzer almost, but still pinky enough to be a blush). I was a little hesitant in applying it, but was extremely happy with the results! It gave my cheeks a nice deep flush with a bit of sparkle. This is definitely perfect for the summertime, and especially if you have skin that you want to give some color to. Since my skin is already slightly tan, I have to remember not to apply this too heavily because its very pigmented and I’d look too dark if I put too much on. Overall, I am loving this and I’m so happy Birchbox treated us this month with an awesome full size product. 🙂 [amazon_link id=”B001R4CLF0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ][/amazon_link] [amazon_link id=”B001R4CLF0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Pangea Organics Facial Toner, Italian Green Mandarin with Sweet Lime [/amazon_link] I was very excited about this toner as well. I had heard of Pangea Organics before but never thought to try anything by them. I’ve actually never used a toner outside of the Lush ones, so this was a nice product to try! And organic is always a plus. This toner is for “normal to combination” skin (luckily mine is combination so it works). Its kind of hard to review a toner, because I feel like the benefits of using one aren’t really noticeable…until, of course, you stop using it. I will say that the smell of this is absolutely lovely! Very fresh and herbal (exactly what I love). While this sounds silly, I also love the spritzer on this bottle as compared to my Lush toner. It gives you a nice wide mist instead of a direct spray. Its so refreshing! [amazon_link id=”B003TZAWB0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ][/amazon_link] [amazon_link id=”B003TZAWB0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Amika Oil Treatment[/amazon_link] I was pretty excited to try out this sample, too. I’ve been wanting to try out an argan oil infused product for a while to see if it would have any affect on my super dry hair. I have only used this a couple times, so I am not sure yet of the long-term benefits it may have, but I have to say that I really like what it has done for my hair thus far. My hair seems to be a little more thick (I have super thin hair, so I notice when it feels a little thicker!) and it is very smoothed down with no fly-aways. I applied this mostly on the ends of my hair (and only a tiny bit! You don’t need too much), so my ends are now less dry than they would have been without this. I’m not sure if I would be willing to pay $34 for the full size product, however. I have been using [amazon_link id=”B000X2BRKC” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]CHI Silk Infusion[/amazon_link] for quite a while, and it is pretty comparable to this product. I would probably be willing to give a cheaper argan oil product a try, though. [amazon_link id=”B0041FDD2C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ][/amazon_link] [amazon_link id=”B0041FDD2C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Twirl By Kate Spade New York Eau De Parfum[/amazon_link] I’m not big on perfume samples…mostly because you can get them pretty easily at department stores or in any Sephora order, but it was still nice to try this scent. I’m really not that great at describing scents, but I did pick up a jasmine and floral scent to this (both which I love). Its very pretty and feminine and I will continue to wear it off and on until the sample runs out. [amazon_link id=”B004MPZLVC” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ][/amazon_link] [amazon_link id=”B004MPZLVC” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pad[/amazon_link] I’ll be honest…I have not tried this out and probably won’t (actually, I will probably include the two pads I received as part of a future giveaway). I just have no interest in tanning or self-tanners…I actually dislike when I get tanner than I normally am in the summer months lol! But this seems like a really great product, regardless…especially if you want to achieve a tan without the sun. [amazon_link id=”B004RRGODY” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ][/amazon_link] [amazon_link id=”B004RRGODY” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Pangea Organics Himalayan Geranium & Pomegranate Balancing Oil [/amazon_link] This was the “extra” little foil sample I received. I actually have not tried this yet, either. I’m a bit hesitant to put oil on my skin, which is already a bit oily in the t-zone area. Reading the reviews, however, a lot of people really like this and it really helped them prevent acne. I may give this a go sometime this week 🙂
