I’m assuming that photography can be included as art pieces. I’m not familiar enough with a whole lot of paintings and such to post about, although I do love Andy Warhol, the Daisy and Brooklyn Bridge being a couple of my favorites.

The above picture is from a collection by photographer Dina Goldstein called “Fallen Princesses”. The series of photographs is supposed to be a modern take on Disney Princesses and puts them in realistic situations (i.e cancer, housewife, plastic surgery etc) based on their original stories. I thought it was pretty interesting. The one here is of “Sleeping Beauty” obviously, but you can see the nine other princesses and also more background on the series at the Fallen Princesses website.
