hello zero motivation

January 6, 2009 by Melanie

Two weeks left before the start of my final semester at Temple. I’m feeling really overwhelmed about everything. I told myself in November that I was going to work hard to look for jobs over break, and that hasn’t happened. I browsed through some listings, none of which I was either interested in or qualified for. I can’t stand these business kids who already have their jobs secured in like November (yes, you Shawn! lol). They have their own career fairs and interview schedules and all this…other schools get jack squat! I’m also nervous about how the hell I’m going to get to my internship cause I hate buses, and I don’t know if my pass will cover two buses in a row. And the train is a far walk. Oh bah can I be a freshman again? Please? lol. I have no idea what I want to do with my life. Everyone says I should start a web design company on the side cause I’m good, but I honestly suck ass at coding and don’t even know Dreamweaver, which I meant to teach myself over break because I got the 30 day trial…but has that happened yet? The trial is probably over.

I have 2 more days not including today at work this week. I’m convinced that people don’t know how to spell my last name, cause they keep spelling it “Gerbhardt”. People have been calling the office non-stop today which is odd. I’m not used to answering the phone this much.lol.

*phone rings* 😡

I made this dijon-tarragon chicken the other night. It was SO delicious. Heres the recipe. I added a clove of chopped garlic to it which gave a huge boost in yummyness. It also made me realize I can’t chop garlic.

I really like my hair now. My bangs look better with a slight curl rather than the straight look they had in the photos from before.

I’m scared to check my bank account balance. Its gonna be bad. lol

Has anyone heard the news that I-Tunes is changing its pricing structure so that popular songs costs over 99 cents and unpopular songs cost less? How annoying and lame.

Well I can’t think of anything else to complain about, so off I go. I promise to post a vlog either Friday or next week.

Yum. Chicken and garlic does sound awesome. 🙂

As for all the uni/job related stuff – I know what you mean. I’m nearly done with my degree too and feeling as if I’m at the top of a cliff and about to fall off! :O
