Received my August Birchbox yesterday! I usually receive it much earlier than I did…I felt like I was waiting on it forever! Its not too bad, but not my favorite box. The theme of this box is “Beauty School”. Am I the only one that gets slightly annoyed when they send notecards that aren’t the size and shape of the normal ones? Because then it doesn’t fit neatly with the stack of other Birchbox cards I have. I may have a problem LOL. But anyway, here’s what I got…
- Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy La Fleur I loove this scent! So much that I’m thinking of purchasing it at some point. I love florals and jasmine, and this smells like both!
- Miss Jessie’s Original Quick Curls This is the product from my box that I’m most excited about trying. If it weren’t for this, I probably would have hated this box. I have wavy hair, and I’m always on the hunt for products that will define the wave without making it all crunchy or frizzy. Looking forward to trying this!
- Beauty Fixation Make Up Remover Um…q-tips with makeup remover inside that are basically taped to Birchbox notecard paper. Not too excited about this but I’ll throw it in my purse.
- PIXI Beauty Lid Last Shadow Pen I’m so disappointed with this because I was looking forward to it before I knew what shade I’d be getting. Of course, I ended up with black! I’m never going to use black eyeshadow, so I’ve traded this with another makeuptalk forum member for some Benefit minis!
- Schick Hydro Silk Razor Okay…between this razor, the razor I received in my Influenster Vox Box, the razor I received in my Allure Beauty Box, and the razor I received from BzzAgent, I seriously haven’t paid for one in quite awhile. Maybe I should do a comparison review or something? haha. I don’t know what to do with them all, but thanks Birchbox! I’ll always love full size products, and I’m actually excited to try this out since it has 5 blades. And I shave almost everyday, so keep the razors coming I guess? =p

We got the same box! I got a peach eyeshadow instead of black tho I haven’t swatched it yet as I’m a little underwhelmed by peach but I guess it could turn out to be good. I’m in love with the perfume too 🙂
Hmmm….I can’t decide if I want to re-subscribe to Birchbox. That $10 a month could be going to my gym membership but sometimes these posts make me want to give it another go! A razor comparison would be helpful by the way haha 🙂
