I have no idea why, but I’m ridiculous sleepy right now. Like about to fall over on top of my desk and take a nice, long nap. Ugh I at least have to hang in there for a couple more hours! haha
I’m so excited about me and Shawn’s Atlantic City vacay coming up! I don’t really have any kind of schedule or itinerary yet…but it’ll be nice to just be somewhere else and relax.
This week actually seems to have gone by fairly quickly. I realized I haven’t actually done a blog in a couple weeks short of recipes and songs, so I guess I have a couple weekends to update on. The weekend before last we went to a Phillies game, which was fun, and last weekend we went to a movie (The Expendables 2) and dinner at PF Chang’s. I don’t really have any plans for this weekend, although I know that a Misto from Rita’s has to be involved somehow! lol
Oh yea, remember that dentist appointment I was referring to a couple entries ago? I ended up having a cavity and having to get that filled. bleh! Wasn’t that bad actually, but then I got a bill for it this week that I had to pay, which was pretty substantial (for me at least). I was surprised since I was under the impression all that stuff was covered with insurance but apparently not all of it. I don’t think I’ve fully adjusted to this whole adult-life thing. What a drag!
On the bright side, its been beautiful out every morning this week, and it makes me want Fall right now. Fall makes me super happy, and I’ll be honest…I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a slump this summer. The fact that I hate summer probably doesn’t help! I can’t wait for the Fall scents and clothing and holidays. <3
I also love autumn! But I definitely have nothing against the summer either. Autumn is just so much more relaxing somehow. People stop hyping about the weather. And I love the colours and the fresh air.
I know what you mean! I cannot wait until fall/winter. I want to wear sweaters, scarves and stockings with comfy jackets- I want it all!! I’d rather be cold and bundle up to get warm than sweat my ass off and worry about pit stains. O.o Oh sorry TMI, but you get what I’m saying. XD
Dentist bills suck. The last time I went to the dentist I had no insurance so I think it cost me around $300. I just got insurance last month and have an appointment booked for next month. I think my insurance covers 80% so I’m interested to see how much I end up having to pay this time. It’s the first time I’ve had my very own insurance (not covered by my dad). It’s a little weird lol.
I used to like Fall. But now that I don’t have someone to drive me around I’m not looking forward to it. I hate taking the bus in the cold weather. And I am usually pretty excited about the holidays, but again, they are going to be kind of sucky now that I’m single. At least I plan on going home to see my family for the first time in a year so that will help a ton I think. Who knows, maybe I will be lucky and actually meet a guy before Christmas haha.
