Nails of the Week: “Natalie”

January 25, 2012 by Melanie

Haven’t done of NOTW in SO long! I haven’t gotten a new polish in awhile to post about, and I’ve actually had my nails unpainted for the whole month of January. Luckily, I took advantage of Zoya’s promotion where they were having 2 FREE polishes. They had this same deal last year, and it was what actually introduced me to the brand. I picked up “Natalie” and “Marley”.

“Natalie” is a really gorgeous color. Zoya’s website describe it as an “orangey, medium-toned clay brown”, but I feel like there is definitely a pink tone in there as well. The picture above shows it more orange than it really is. I really love this color! The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is a bit sheer compared to other Zoya polishes. I only did 3 coats but may do 3 next time. Base coat is Zoya Anchor. I didn’t bother with Seche Vite this time because its getting really thick and goopey (I need to pick up some thinner to try and thin it out a bit). Can’t wait to try out Marley!

I love your site. It’s so fresh, pink and awesome. That color looks so gorgeous. I bought a couple myself. Haven’t bothered painting my nails for the last 2 months or so. Blah. Need to do it again. Great post!
