…can you please go away now because I’m really hating this hot weather and the bugs and constantly sweating walking to and from work and having various things in my kitchen melting. Ugh!
On the plus side, I’ve kind of stopped using makeup and have just been throwing some BB Cream on my face every morning. Takes literally 5 minutes. Combine that with wearing my hair curly most days and the fact that my summer work wardrobe basically consists of the same shirt in different colors (no layering or having to think about what to wear), I’ve managed to cut my getting ready time to 10 minutes. If there’s anything I can put my mind to, its figuring out the best ways to fully maximize my laziness. ha!
There’s a couple of announcement-type things I’d like to address so I’ll start with the one that’s probably more exciting. I’m getting a kitty! We went to the shelter last weekend and also the weekend before to get acquainted with the cats there. Although Shawn and I were (are?) sort of not on the same page with the type of cat we’d like to get (I prefer really lazy and chill, he prefers one that’s more interactive), I’ve decided on this guy right here. He’s super sweet and SO laid back and calm. Hopefully he’s still there this weekend when we go to pick him up. Since we don’t have a car, I think we might end up getting a cab back to the condo. I was thinking the bus at first but I don’t know…I’d probably be freaking out as much as the cat, so I’d rather just pay a few bucks more for a cab. Will keep you guys updated (most likely with pictures) when we bring him home!
And now for the site-related news. Like I mentioned in my last entry, I’ve been wanting to change the name of this blog and also kind of re-join in with my beauty blog again. I find that I’m barely posting on that blog, and I just feel like having a separate domain name is a bit of a waste. It will be nice to have everything kind of streamlined (can’t stand that techy-babble word but its probably applicable). I’ve settled on MellieAnne.com so I’ll eventually buy that name and also move my design site over to AdorabilityDesigns.com (that’ll probably happen fairly soon, since I’ve been getting a lot more traffic over there).

Oh my goodness! You would love living in Sweden and never have any warm weather. Well, at least very rarely.
I have plenty of domain names too and in a way I guess it’s a waste of money. But then, I want people to easily find my sites and not having to type a lot of slashes and things. But my sites are not related to each other either like yours are.
