SEPHORA Outrageous Volume Mascara

I received this mascara for free from Sephora with a recent order. I was almost done with my current mascara, so I was super happy that Sephora was having this deal and that I was able to get the full size for free! I’ve always been a fan of Sephora brand mascaras, and this was no exception.

I was happy when I saw the brush because I’m a fan of large brushes with the short rubber bristles. This brush is huge! The quilted packaging is also really adorable.

It definitely provides a lot of volume and length as well. It has a tendency to get a little bit clumpy (as “volume” mascaras often do) if there is a lot of product on the brush, but I haven’t had much of an issue with too much clumpyness. Unlike the Maybelline Lots of Lashes mascara, which I had been using previously, I don’t have any problems with flaking. However, I do sometimes have an issue with this mascara running. Its not waterproof, but I’ve found that it tends to run a little bit easier than other mascaras I’ve used. If your eyes or watery or you rub your eyes a lot, then you’ll definitely notice the mascara becoming smudged. It really does last a long time, though, as long as no water is involved. All in all, this is a good mascara that I will definitely continue using.

Have you ever tried any Sephora brand mascaras? My favorite is probably still the Atomic Volume (which has a very similar brush).
