Whats with the stupid weather lately? It says theres going to be a 70% chance of rain…and we haven’t gotten one drop of rain yet. I mean I hate rain and all, but its annoying cause I wore my rain boots and I’ve been carrying around my umbrella with me all day.

O yea…new site up! Please visit MelanieGebhardt.com. It still says “coming soon” but thats only because I can’t figure out what to put on the first page yet. I’ll probably just have that be my main portfolio site for designs, music etc, and make this site strictly a blog.

So yea my stupid eye has been twitching for almost 2 weeks now. I feel like its very gradually going away though. (or that could just be all in my mind cause I want it to go away so bad haha) But yea it really doesn’t seem to be as bad as it was earlier this week. I’ve tried eating bananas (potassium!), using eyedrops, wearing glasses, and taking vitamins. hahaha. If it continues into next week though without any noticeable improvement, I’m going to make a doctor’s appointment. My dad seems to think, because of this and the Bell’s Palsy from last year, that I have some kind of neurological disorder effecting the right side of my face. Lovely. lol

I have two projects due next Friday that involve audio editing. It wouldn’t be that bad if I was able to work on them outside of class…especially if I could use ProTools. But instead, I only have the lab period on Wednesday to work on them since the file is too big to fit on my thumb drive. And we have to use Final Cut Pro. Final Cut is obviously mainly designed as a video editor, or an audio+video editor. Its really not that user friendly when it comes to strict audio, unlike Protools which was designed for that purpose. Meh. Hopefully I get them both finished by the due date.

My birthday is in 2 weeks. Wow. This semester is speeding on by.
