got2b Rockin’ It Dry Shampoo
After using up the previous dry shampoo I was using, which was John Frieda’s Anytime Volume Refresher (review here), I wanted to continue to try different dry shampoos to see if I found the perfect one for me. This was the only dry shampoo that they had at the Walgreens I went to, so I picked it up!

Unlike the John Frieda one, the size of this product is quite big. The first thing I noticed when I used it was that the fragrance is pretty strong. Its a nice fragrance (a bit floral), but it definitely isn’t subtle. This dry shampoo gives much more of that white cast than the John Freida does. However, it brushes out easily and I’ve also found that its much better at absorbing oil. After using this, my bangs were fluffy and oil-free again.

One weird thing I’ve found with the packaging of this (and with some other dry shampoos as well) is that it tends to leak sometimes. Once after using it, I noticed a buzzing sound coming from the nozzle, which sounded like it was letting product out. Sure enough, when I went to use it the following day, the can felt more empty than it should have. It hasn’t done it since, but I wish the packaging was a little more stable as to not let excess product escape.

Overall, my thoughts on this product are mostly positive. I love how it gets rid of oil from my hair, and the fragrance, while strong, doesn’t bother me too much. Its probably not the best dry shampoo out there, but it gets the job done.

What is your favorite dry shampoo? Any suggestions for when I run out of this one?

  1. Lush make a lovely dry shampoo.

I heard a rumour they were discontinuing it, at least here in the UK, however I could be wrong.

The name fails me, although they only do one, so I’m sure the shop would know which it was 🙂
