Update on the kitty! So my last post was from a week ago when I had to take him to the vet for the 3rd time about the eye infection. After a couple days on the oral antibiotic, it was pretty clear that the infection was getting worse and not better, so my vet called in a prescription for Famvir (an oral antiviral med), which luckily was not at all expensive like I thought it would be. He’s been on it for about 4-5 days now and he’s much improved! The picture on the left is from Sept 18th (Wednesday), and the picture on the right is from yesterday.

Not totally out of the water yet, but a lot better. I’m hoping that keeping up with the Famvir will heal it, but if its still lingering we might have to try antiviral eye drops which I’m really hoping we won’t have to do.

The rest of my weekend was pretty good. Went into the city on Saturday for some shopping. Got 2 pairs of my favorite flats from Payless, a reed diffuser from Macy’s that was on sale, and a gift for Shawn’s brother’s family who just had a baby.
