Hello all. I’ve been trying out quite a few new skincare products lately, so I figured it was about time to review one for you guys!
Its been a while since I’ve used a toner. I used up my previous one and just never bothered replacing it with a new one. When looking for a new toner, I knew that I wanted one from Paula’s Choice, my favorite skincare brand. Paula’s toners (unlike most on the market) are alcohol free, fragrance free, and full of awesome non-irritating ingredients for your skin. There are quite a few different toners to choose from, but this one in particular is great for dry skin (or if your skin gets more dry in the winter months). Its super soothing and hydrating and will work well for you if your skin is sensitive or prone to redness.
I use this toner once a day at night after cleansing, and noticed just after a couple days of using this that my skin is in better condition. My main skin problem was the area around my mouth would be on the dry side, and it was especially noticeable after a day of having makeup on because that area would appear super dry and just didn’t appear smooth. This toner helps that out quite a bit and adds that little bit of extra moisture that I need during the winter. Hopefully it won’t be too much for the summer, but I’ll have to wait and see.
I’d highly suggest any of Paula’s Choice products! I use the toner, exfoliating gel, and moisturizer and love all three. Thinking back to when my skin used to be absolutely terrible (dry and flaky, but also super acne-prone), I’m so glad I started using better products! I can’t even remember the last time I had breakout which is crazy. Hopefully it stays that way!
If you’d like to order any products from Paula’s Choice, just a word of advice…don’t include the free samples or free catalog, because the price of shipping actually goes up (I guess that’s just the way their cart system is). My shipping went from like $3 to close to $9 just from the addition of those free items! Luckily, I contacted their customer service (which is great by the way) and they were able to offer me a store credit. I should hopefully have a review up on the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream in the next couple weeks!
