I bought a new hair dryer this past weekend! My old one I had for over a decade. I decided it was about time that I upgrade to one that isn’t from the late 90’s. 😕 I went back and forth between wanting to get a professional one (super expensive!) and a regular drugstore-brand one. I settled for the [amazon_link id=”B000KYRBD0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Remington T Studio Ceramic Pearl[/amazon_link] which was somewhat in between price-wise. It retails for $40, but I found it on sale at Ulta for $29.99. 🙂
First off, I love the look and design of it. Its very sleek and the pink accents are so cute! It is 1875 watts (I think my old one was 12 something haha!). It comes with 2 attachments (a diffuser and a concentrator) and has 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings as well as a cool shot button. It has an ionic generator, which is what I was looking for because it helps to make your hair less frizzy. It also uses tourmaline and ceramic technology. I have used it twice so far (once before I straightened my hair, and the second time for when I left my hair curly) and I really like it! It doesn’t leave my hair completely frizz-less (I don’t think any hair dryer can do that), but has definitely diminished it and I also notice my hair is much softer. The cool shot button is actually cool/cold unlike a the luke-warm temperature that my old dryer’s cool shot was, and that really helps with frizz as well. The one downside is that it is a bit heavy in weight compared to other dryers, but its not something that I mind a whole lot.
Overall, I’m impressed and will continue using this dryer. Hopefully it will last me as long as my old one! I’m actually thinking about getting the Remington Pearl curling wand…we shall see. 🙂

My current hair dryer is really heavy and because of that I seldom use it. haha
Thanks for the review!
