Kind of belated, but hope everyone had a good 4th of July holiday! (if you celebrate it). I spent it in Brigantine Beach with Shawn and his family…was a fun time. I miss him though =(
Theres been some crazy heatwaves going on the past week. I think it went up to 103 one day. Ridiculous! I can’t wait for Fall to come. I feel like I did absolutely nothing this weekend, which I guess is true. All I really did yesterday was my laundry. haha. And today I don’t really have anything planned except for working out at some point. Very boring. I should really work on those 10 or so songs that I’ve been writing for like 5 months and haven’t finished. Someday.
I’ve been starting to read a bit more lately since I’m taking the train back from work everyday. I just finished Sellevision by Augusten Burroughs, and I’m planning to start The Girl Who Played With Fire on Monday. The first one was pretty good (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and I saw the movie on Netflix this week. The movie kept pretty close to the book (minus a couple things), so I’d recommend it if you like the book. They’re already remaking a Hollywood-ised version of it. Why do they always have to do that? Its like we’re incapable of watching foreign films or something. They’re doing/did the same thing with “Let The Right One In”, which didn’t have to be remade. Neither did “Death at a Funeral”. *lesigh*
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon. You’d think at my age I wouldn’t have any fear of the dentist anymore…but no, still not looking forward to it at all. haha

haha…of course Opera is included!, I just don’t have it so I had no way of knowing if the site looked okay in it (I’m assuming it does)…pretty much the only reason I have that there is so people don’t view it in IE, and Chrome and FF were the 2 most popular I guess. Actually, what I should really do is put “best viewed in…” instead. I had it that way at one point, I have no idea why I changed the wording O_o
I don’t think anyone that hasn’t lived in PA at some point is going to know what Wawa is…which makes it all the more awesome. lol
I’m 28-years-old and I still hate the dentist. I had a lot of teeth pulled when I was a kid because my mouth was too small. As he was twisting my tooth out my dentist used to go, “Snap crackle pop!” Pretty sure that’s where the fear/loathing of the dentist comes from…
I’m currently reading “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” It has taken me a very long time to get into that book. I just made it to Part Two and I’m starting to enjoy it a bit more.
I still dislike going to the dentist too. But it’s usually not as bad as I think it’s going to be.
@Deanna, Yea I was the same way with the book as well. I didn’t really get into it until the second half when the mystery picked up. The whole first half seems like back-story and such (a lot of which they skip over in the movie) =p
