Hello all! Hope you had a lovely weekend! It was finally a little bit warmer this weekend (there was this thing that came out…called sun!).

On Saturday, we went out for lunch with my boyfriend, Shawn’s, brother and his girlfriend at Max Brenner in Center City. I had never been there before, but I’ll definitely be going back! The food was decent, but the chocolate…oh my. I got a salted caramel hot chocolate, and it was ridiculously delicious. It also came in this cute little “hug mug” that I couldn’t really figure out how to hold at first…but luckily the people I was with are much smarter than I am haha.

After lunch, Shawn and I walked around a little bit and I popped into the Lush on Walnut Street. This is the first time I had been to their new location (they moved from a block away about a year back). Felt like it was a little more cramped than their old location was. I picked up a massage bar (Soft Coeur), a bubble bar (Karma), a shampoo bar (Godiva), and a Buffy, an exfoliating/conditioning bar. I’ve tried everything already with the exception of the Karma bubble bar I think. I absolutely love Buffy and Godiva!

After we got back, I dyed my hair (just black like usual…gotta cover up the crazy grays), and we headed out to dinner. Shawn got a promotion at his job on Friday, so we were celebrating 🙂 We went to Doma, a sushi/Japanese restaurant by us. It was yummy! Afterwards we got some froyo from the Whirled Peace that just opened up (yea, I’ll be there probably wayyy too much this spring/summer).

Sunday was a lazy day spent inside. I got a good amount of design work finished (shameless plug: Adorability Designs) and some cleaning. Also discovered that the pipe under our kitchen sink is like…falling apart. And leaking everywhere. So that’s exciting. My dad’s going to stop by to take a look at it today. Hopefully we don’t need a plumber or anything. Eek!

I’ve decided I’m going to both start working out again and trying to learn the guitar again this week, which is a lot considering I spend my evenings on the couch fooling around on the internet most of the time.
