Once again, sorry for the long delay in blogging. Almost a month? Bah!
Finals have ended and the semester is over. I’m officially a senior I guess. Its really weird and I don’t want to be a senior at all. I don’t want to look for a job or have to deal with interviews or responsibilities. *sigh* I mean I’m sure its not that bad, but what if I don’t find a job at all? What if I end up with some really low paying crappy job that involves serving food and/or other products to the general public? Oh the horror.
Anyhow, finals went alright. So far only 2 of my grades are up on Owlnet (Editing and Band…both As). I’m pretty worried about my Cable Industry class because the final was ridiculous and I’m not sure I did well =/ I hope the rest of my grades come up soon. I’m guessing Death and Dying should be an A since I got 100 on the Midterm, and 100 on all the paper drafts haha. I’m also assuming that I’ll get an A in Advertising cause the Prof is a pretty easy grader. So all I’m really worried about is Cable. I’d be fine with a B+ I suppose…but its gonna ruin my A streak that I’ve had the whole year. grr.
I start my internship on Monday so thats exciting. I hope I don’t miss my bus stop again. I’m so horrible at transportation, especially buses cause I have to actually pay attention and know where I’m going. Meh. lol.
I move in with my boyfriend to our new apartment on June 30th! Its called Parkway House and its only like a block from the Art Museum. Its going to be really beautiful. We’re starting to make lists of what to get for it and all that stuff. Hopefully it won’t be too much of a hassle.
I’m going to add a video section to my portfolio site tonight. I thought all the stuff from my Editing class kind of sucked, but I ended up getting 100 for the final and nothing below a 90 on the other stuff so I figure its worth putting up. Still not very satisfied with it though, I could have done better especially on the movie trailer but the whole limited time issue is what messed me up.
I just ordered $98 rain boots…I feel slightly guilty but they’re nice rain boots.

Hi Melanie! Congratulations! I’m not too hyped about being a senior either, but life goes on. It’s scary how quickly time has passed.
Just out of curiosity, what are you doing for your internship, and how’d you find it? I think I’ve got a hold of a job already, but it’s not exactly what I’m looking for.
